Music Ministry

We hope you find the music at WPUMC comforting at times, invigorating at other times, but enjoyable at all times! Congregational singing includes traditional and contemporary hymns, led primarily by piano and acoustic guitar.  Other instruments are regularly featured, including flute, cello, brass and strings. Classical guitar and choral music are staples of our 'special music' moment during the service, but vocal solos and other instrumental offerings are common as well. The choir performs a Christmas Cantata and Easter Anthem annually. In addition, the bell choir performs several times during the year.

The worship music team is led by Music Director Steve Bondy. Sonya Clark is the piano accompanist.

The Music department also organizes the popular Concerts in the Courtyard series during the summer months, which are free events open to the public.
