Next: April 25th - The Bad Habits of Jesus: Jesus Entered the Danger Zone, Luke 19: 45-48 Starting April 25th, we will begin HYBRID WORSHIP—meaning that we will have sign-ups for 30 participants in worship on a Sunday morning, in addition to continuing to livestream on Facebook and YouTube. Sign-ups will be available each Monday for the following Sunday. Participants will need to agree to stay masked and socially distanced (even if you’ve had the vaccine), and stay home if they feel sick. Additionally, when the weather is nice, we will encourage BYOC (Bring Your Own Coffee) Fellowship time after worship in the courtyard. We’re so excited to welcome you back into the sanctuary! Sign up here Your questions: New and fun addition to Sunday School Does your child ask questions about the Bible, church, God, Jesus or why we do things as Christians? If so, forward those questions onto me and I will look into it for your child. We will answer the question during our Sunday School video. You can email a question or questions to childrensministry@washparkumc.org. I will let you know when your child’s question will be answered. We’d love to hear from you and know what they are thinking about! WHAT IS IT?
Hybrid worship will be both a live-stream and limited in-person experience. In addition to our worship leaders live-streaming the worship service on Sundays at 9:30 am from the sanctuary, we will allow a limited number of individuals/family groups to attend the service. WHO CAN ATTEND? A limited number of individuals or family groups will be permitted to attend (10 family groups maximum with no more than 3 in each group). A digital sign up form (like this one) will be sent each week on the Monday before that Sunday’s service. The service will continue to be live-streamed each week at 9:30 am on Facebook and YouTube and a link to the worship will go out in the Monday email. WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I ATTEND? When you arrive to a worship service that you have signed up for, you will have agreed to specific participant expectations described below. Please enter the sanctuary through the courtyard doors. You can expect to be greeted and screened by an usher/volunteer, who will then direct you to the sanctuary. You can expect to see other masked worship participants practicing social distancing, and are encouraged enjoy BYOC (Bring Your Own Coffee) Fellowship in the courtyard after worship! Sign up for hybrid worship on Sunday, April 25. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or concerns, and look for Hybrid Worship sign-ups on Mondays for the following Sunday.
