Our
welcoming worship service is held each Sunday at 9:30 AM.
This worship opportunity blends traditional elements with contemporary
themes and music.
Traditional
aspects of the service include the setting of our beautiful sanctuary,
some classical music including traditional hymns, the use of liturgy,
and a time for silent prayer.
Contemporary
elements include a time to share joys and concerns, the family-friendly
atmosphere with crying room, crayons for kids and children's time
during each service, some contemporary music, and the informal conversational
style of the sermons.
Messages range
from relevant and thought-provoking topics to in-depth study of
scripture and Bible stories. United Methodists practice an open
communion table where all are welcome and encouraged to share.
