We hope you find the music at WPUMC comforting at times, invigorating at other times, but enjoyable at all times! Congregational singing includes traditional and contemporary hymns, led primarily by piano and acoustic guitar. Other instruments are regularly featured, including flute, cello, brass and strings. Classical guitar and choral music are staples of our 'special music' moment during the service, but vocal solos and other instrumental offerings are common as well.
The worship music team is led by Music Director Steve Bondy. Mariko Maruse is the piano accompanist. Anyone who would like to sing or play along is very welcome and may contact the church office at 303-777-3043 or email@example.com. The worship music team rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm and prior to service on Sundays at 8:30 am.
Seeking Participants for a Hand Bell Choir
Things are looking up for a WPUMC Bell Choir! We need a few more bodies to round out our soon-to-be hand bell choir. A handful of folks have replied to my invitation, saying that they'd be interested in making some wonderful music in a bell choir. However, we still need more bodies for sure. You don't need any particular skills, just a willingness to learn and to have fun in the process. If you are interested in ringing bells with us (likely to start mid-Fall) please let me know - drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. - Steve Bondy, Music Director
