Sunday School

Our Sunday School program involves children ages 3 through Grade 5. Our Youth Group includes children in Grades 6 through 12. Children attend the first part of the worship service and are dismissed to Sunday School following the children's sermon. The curriculum uses an experienced-based method of teaching kids, giving them hands-on learning with a rotating group of teachers who provide lessons on the current theme and expand on the children's sermon.

Youth Group

Youth group generally begins after the Sunday worship service at 11:00 AM in the Youth Room. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Young Adult Discussion

Each Wednesday evening a group of young people, not necessarily affiliated with the church gathers to talk about life, ideas, choices of faith, and much more.  If you are interested in this please contact youngpeople@washparkumc.org.  Young Adult can be anyone who is young 20's to young at heart.

 

Adult Education

Each Sunday after the service the church offers Adult Education groups that cover such topics as basic study of the Bible, living the abundant life responsibly, and the importance of tolerance.

A Bible Study group is currently being formed. More information will be posted when available.

Vacation Bible School

This past summer, vacation bible school was held on Thursday, July 23, Friday, July 24, (6:15 to 8:00 p.m. both evenings) and then Saturday, July 25, ( 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) Our theme was CAMP E.D.G.E. (Experience & Discover God Everywhere) Lots of fun camping activities were planned to go along with our Bible stories!
